Modder team.
Who writes the Modder blog, how we test what we write about, where our numbers come from, and how to tell us we got something wrong.
Who we are
We build Modder: the browser game portal at modder.gg and the maker that turns a sentence into a game. The same people write the blog, so every post about making games comes from builds we ran ourselves, and every list of games comes from playing them.
How we test
A post marked "How we tested" says what we did and on which day: the prompt we built, the browser and computer we played on, and the numbers we wrote down. Build times, costs and scores come from our maker's eval runs, the same harness that times every build, totals its model spend and has a separate judge score the game. Screenshots are captures of our own games and builds, never mock-ups.
Facts about other games and tools come from their own pages, read on the date we give, and are listed under the post as sources. Prices and plans change, so check the source before you decide. We make a competing product; when another tool is better at something, the post says so.
Corrections
If something in a post is wrong or out of date, email team@ninelives.cc or tell us on Discord. We fix it and move the post's updated date.
