Questions about Chess
What's the easiest chess computer level?
Beginner. It looks one move ahead and often plays a near-best move instead of the best, so new players can win. Casual looks two moves ahead.
Can I play chess vs a bot without signing up?
Yes. Every level is free in your browser with no account or download, and your games and results save on this device.
How strong is the Master level?
Master thinks for about 2.5 seconds a move, around five moves deep in the middlegame. Club, a step below, looks four moves ahead and sets traps.
Can I play chess with a friend?
Yes. Play two players on one screen, or start an online room and send the link. If nobody joins, a bot takes the seat.
